Use NowNEW DELHI: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will close the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) July 2024 registration window tomorrow, April 12. Eligible and interested candidates can fill the INI CET 2024 registration form by visiting the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.
The INI CET 2024 July session is scheduled for May 19, offering admission to 815 seats across various disciplines including Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Masters of Chirurgie (MCh), and Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS).
A total of 11 institutes, comprising 8 AIIMS institutions, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) Bengaluru, and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry, will consider the INI CET 2024 scores for admissions.
INI CET 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates can have a look at the INI CET 2024 eligibility criteria below.
- Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) for admission to MD/MS courses. Additionally, they must have finished a one-year rotatory internship and obtained the completion certificate by July 31, 2024.
- Aspirants belonging to the General, Other Backward Classes (OBC). Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category are required to have obtained a minimum aggregate of 55% in MBBS, whereas Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates need to secure at least 50%.
- Furthermore, medical professionals must hold a registration certificate issued by either the NMC or the State Medical Council (SMC).
