INI CET 2025: 1,436 PG medical seats up for grabs; reservation details, seat matrix

Use NowNEW DELHI: All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has uploaded the tentative seat matrix for admission to PG courses through the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) January 2025. A total of 1,436 seats will be filled through the INI CET score at various participating institutions for courses such as MD, MS, MCh/ DM, and MDS.
All AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGIMER Chandigarh and SCTIMST Trivandrum will offer admission based on the INI CET results. As per the schedule announced earlier, the AIIMS INI CET exams 2025 will be held on November 10 and the admit card for the exam will be issued on November 4 at the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.
The institute informed candidates that no seats are reserved for PWBD at AIIMS New Delhi for January 2025, as per 100 point roster in MDS. On the other hand, AIIMS Jodhpur has announced that a candidate leaving the course during counselling should pay Rs 3 lakh and those leaving after the last date of joining will have to pay a sum of Rs 5 lakh to compensate the loss incurred by midstream departure.
Further NIMHANS Bengaluru said: “5% of the seats are reserved for PWBD (between 40% to 70% disability) as per the Govt. of India regulations in all courses offered at NIMHANS except for DM/MCh courses.” Reservations are not applicable for MCh, DM, and MD Physical Medical and Rehabilitation courses and the allocation of seats will be done on merit basis.
“For North – Eastern Domicile applicants should be belonging to Domiciles of Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and Uttarakhand states,” it added.
