The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced the round 2 seat allotment result for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) January 2026 counselling. Candidates can check their allotted Institute and subject, specialty on the official AIIMS exams portal at aiimsexams.ac.in.

Candidates allocated a seat in the INI CET January 2026 round 2 will have to report to the allotted institute and exercise their option by January 15, 2026. As per the institute, option A requires accepting the seat and submitting original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies or a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 3 lakh in favour of “AIIMS Main Grant Account,” payable at SBI Ansari Nagar, New Delhi.

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) who have received new or upgraded seats will have to report on January 10, 2026, 9:30 am at AIIMS New Delhi for verification of the disability certificate by the Medical Board.

INI CET Counselling 2026: Candidates excluded from round 2 allotment

The INI CET January 2026 round 2 allotment list includes candidates eligible for this stage of allocation. It excludes candidates who did not participate in the 1st round, those who were allocated seats in the 1st round but did not choose an option online by December 24, 2025, and those who did not complete the required formalities after the 1st round.

“All the candidates who had participated in the 2nd round and were not allocated any seat (Institute and Subject/Specialty) will automatically be eligible for subsequent round (If any) and any open round of seat allocation subject to rules & procedure of that round,” the official notice said.

INI CET January 2026 Round 2 Allotment: Documents required

Candidates allocated seats in the 2nd round of INI-CET January 2026 counselling will have to report to their allotted institute with the required documents listed below.

  • Offer letter
  • Seat allocation slip
  • Final registration slip
  • AIIMS admit card
  • Mark sheets of MBBS/BDS 1st, 2nd, and 3rd professional exams
  • MBBS, BDS degree certificate
  • Internship completion certificate or a certificate from the Head of Institution confirming completion of the 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training on or before January 31, 2026, for all INIs
  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by MCI, DCI, or the respective state medical, dental council
  • High school, higher secondary certificate, or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
  • Applicable caste certificates.
