IPMAT 2020 - Safety measures in place ahead of the exam

NEW DELHI- Indian Institute of Management Indore, which is conducting the IPMAT 2020 exam has taken all possible steps to ensure the safety of the candidates in wake of the widespread novel Coronavirus. The institute has ensured that all the standard operating processes are followed at the IPMAT test centre such as social distancing, wearing of masks, and proper sanitization of the exam centre.

IPMAT 2020: Steps for safety of candidates- pre-examination

Candidates are asked to stand in a queue and they are supposed to maintain adequate distance as they enter the exam centre. The objective is to prevent overcrowding and maintain social distancing.

Items that were permitted to be carried inside the exam hall were:

Personal transparent water bottle

Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)

A simple transparent pen
-
Exam related documents (Admit Card, ID card, Photographetc).

IPMAT 2020: Steps for the safety of candidates- At the time of entry

The space of at least 6 feet from each other was maintained all the time by the staff. The queue managers and ropes were arranged outside the examination centre.

Before entering the centre, candidates sanitized their hands. Hand sanitizers were available at the centre.

The aspirant’s body temperature (using thermo guns) was checked and the staff was guiding aspirants regarding the lab number.
About IPMAT 2020
IPMAT is conducted every year by IIM Indore for admission to five-year integrated program of management. Candidates qualifying the entrance test will be shortlisted for the selection procedure of IIM Indore on the basis of which final admission will be offered to the suitable candidates.
