IPU CET 2019: GGSIPU application process begins with online registration

NEW DELHI, MARCH 23: The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has begun the application process for admissions to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the admission session 2019-20. The GGSIPU 2019 application form online window was activated yester-night, where the candidates will need to register online for the academic programmes of their choice. The GGSIPU online application form is common to admissions for all programmes.

The last date to apply for GGSIPU 2019-20 admissions varies for different programmes. The GGSIPU application deadline for as many as 15 programmes end on April 22, for another 14 programmes it’s April 29 and six programmes, is May 20, 2019.

This year, the university will be conducting Common Entrance Tests (CETs) for select programmes, while for admissions into the other programmes, scores of the respective national-level entrance tests will be considered. The application deadline for such non-CET programmes has yet not been decided and will be notified later, as per the GGSIPU 2019-20 admission brochure.

GGSIPU application is three-step process which includes online registration, filling of application form and payment of application fees, before submitting the application form of GGSIPU 2019 admissions.

How to fill GGSIPU application process?

Step 1 – Online registration

Register online for GGSIPU 2019-20 admissions by providing the following basic details–

1. Choice of exam category
2. Name
3. Date of Birth
4. Nationality
5. Religion
6. Gender
7. Parents’ Name
8. Correspondence Address
9. Mobile Number
10. Email Id

Before moving to the second step of filling application form, candidates will also need to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.

Once the Login Id and Password has been received in the candidates’ mail inbox and mobile number’s message box, the candidate can login to fill GGSIPU 2019 application form.

Step 2 – Filling application form

This is the second step where candidates will need to fill their academic qualification details and authenticate their entries by checking into the declaration form.

The GGSIPU 2019 aspirants will also need to provide their choice of courses and enter the appearing/appeared entrance examination details.

Once the second step of GGSIPU application process is done, candidates can move onto the third and final step, i.e., payment of application.

Step 3 – Application fee payment

Candidates can pay the fees of GGSIPU 2019 application form in online mode only using any of the payment options– Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
