IPUCET 2019: GGSIPU likely to do away with entrance for 6 programmes, admissions on national-level exam scores

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 27 : Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is most likely to do away with its Common Entrance Test, commonly called as IPUCET held for as many as six different programmes including B.Tech, B.Arch, MBBS, BDS, BA LLB and BBA LLB, even as the university will be offering admissions to these programmes based on the scores of respective national level entrance tests.
The university in an admission circular has notified about the change in admission process for the academic session 2019-20. The GGSIPU has also announced that the IPU Admissions application process and online registration will begin in the first week of March along with the announcement of admission brochure.

Besides these undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, where the admissions are being proposed to be held on the basis of scores of different national level tests, there are seven other programmes where the GGSIPU has already admitting candidates based on the national level exams.

Further, the GGSIPU will continue to conduct entrance tests for the other UG and PG programmes including BBA, BJMC, BCA, MA English, MJMC and M.Tech.
