NEW DELHI: The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh has declared the round 2 seat allotment result 2024 for BTech and BArch programmes. Candidates who applied for JAC Chandigarh counselling 2024 can check their allotment status on the official website, jacchd.admissions.nic.in.

Applicants will need to enter their JEE Main application number and password to download the allotment letter which contains seat allotment, fee payment, and willingness details. The courses and colleges have been allocated on the basis of preferences submitted by the candidates during the choice-filling process.

Seat allotted students will have to pay online the seat acceptance fee and submit willingness to participate in the counselling by July 20, till 5 pm. The fee is Rs 40,000 and can be paid through debit card or credit card, or internet banking or UPI.

How to check JAC Chandigarh round 2 result 2024?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the seat allotment letter of JAC Chandigarh round 2 counselling 2024.

  • Visit the official website for JAC Chandigarh, jacchd.admissions.nic.in.
  • Click on the link for round 2 seat allotment result under candidate activity section.
  • Enter the JEE Main 2024 application number and password along with the captcha code
  • JAC Chandigarh counselling result will be displayed
  • Pay seat acceptance fee and submit willingness
  • Download the provisional admission letter for future reference

JAC Chandigarh Counselling 2024: What after seat allotment?

Candidates can submit their willingness as per the following:

  • Type 1 candidates who have been allotted a seat for the first time in the second round will have to pay the seat acceptance fee and submit willingness for upgradation, failing which the allotted seat shall automatically be cancelled and the candidate shall not be considered for subsequent rounds of counselling except special and spot rounds. The candidate must also submit the choice of willingness for upgradation (Yes–Upgradation/ Freeze - No Upgradation) for the subsequent rounds of Counselling.
  • For Type 2 candidates, their previously allotted seat remains unchanged.
  • Type 3 candidates may get a seat of higher preferred choice or their previously allotted seat may remain unchanged. Such candidates need not to do any activity unless they desire a change in their willingness from “Yes Upgradation” to “Freeze - No Upgradation”.
  • Type 3 candidates, who had exercised willingness “Yes Upgradation” after first round seat allotment but desire to change the willingness “Freeze - No Upgradation” after second round of seat allotment can do so online after login. However, change of willingness from “Freeze - No Upgradation” to “Yes Upgradation” is not allowed.
