New Delhi, January 7: IIT Kanpur has released the admit card of JAM 2020 in online mode. Only registered candidates can access the admit card by using their login credentials - enrollment ID/email ID and Password. To download the hall ticket, candidates have to visit the official website jam.iitk.ac.in and click on the admit card link. Once the candidates download it, they must check if all the details available on the admit card are true to the best of their knowledge. In case of any discrepancy, they must reach out to the authorities and get the corrections done.

It must be noted that there’s a time limit within which candidates have to download the admit card. The examination – JAM 2020 will take place on February 9, candidates will be allowed to download the hall ticket till February 9 only. However, it’s advisable not to download the admit card on the last day to avoid any last minute hassle.

The IIT JAM hall ticket has to be taken to the examination centre on the day of the examination. As it’s a mandatory document, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without possessing the hall ticket and without showing it to the invigilator. The JAM admit card will carry details like the name of the candidate, his/her registration number, photograph and signature of the candidate, the name of the subject opted, exam duration, schedule and session, and the allotted examination centre. After downloading the admit card, candidates must take at least 2 or more printouts of the admit card so that if one copy is lost, the other can be used without any hassle.

JAM is a computer-based exam that will be held across 69 cities of the country. JAM 2020 will be held by IIT Kanpur for candidates aspiring to seek admission in M.Sc. (Two Years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and other Post-UG Degrees Programmes at the IITs and Integrated PhD Degree Programmes at the IISc. A total of 2445 seats are offered in various participating institutes for various programmes.
