NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will start the JEE Advanced registration 2021 from September 11 at the official website - jeeadv.ac.in. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill the JEE Advanced 2021 application form till September 16. The last date of fee payment for JEE Advanced application 2021 will be September 17.

Candidates willing to fill the JEE Advanced 2021 application form must check the eligibility criteria before filling the application. It must be noted that no candidate will be eligible for admission if he/she does not satisfy the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria 2021. Candidates must check the following eligibility criterion before the JEE Advanced registration 2021.
Criterion 1- Performance in JEE Main 2021: Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in BE/BTech paper of JEE Main 2021 in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2021.
Criterion 2- Age limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1996. However, there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.
Criterion 3- Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Criterion 4- Appearance in Class 12 or equivalent examination: A candidate should have appeared for the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2020 or 2021 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Criterion 5- Earlier admission at IITs: A candidate should not have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program or accepted a seat at an IIT by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” through JoSAA in the past. Candidates whose admission to IITs was cancelled after joining any IIT are also not eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021. However, those who did not report or withdrew their seat after allotment in the past will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2021.
Candidates who successfully registered for JEE Advanced 2020 but were absent in both the papers, i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2, of JEE Advanced 2020 are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2021 and do not need to fulfill Criteria 1 to 4 above. However, they must successfully register for the JEE Advanced 2021 in the online registration portal and pay the registration fee.

JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted as a computer-based exam on October 3. The response sheet of JEE Advanced 2021 will be released on October 5.
