Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati) has released the JEE Advanced 2023 eligibility criteria for the candidates. Candidates who have been declared qualified in the JEE Mains 2023 exam can proceed to check the eligibility criteria at jeeadv.ac.in.
As per the official notification, as many as 5 criteria have been set by IIT Guwahati for the candidates willing to apply for JEE Advanced 2023.
JEE Advanced 2023: Eligibility criteria
The candidates will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2023 exam on the basis of the following.
- Performance in JEE Mains 2023: The candidate should be among the top 2,50,000 candidates in the BE/BTech paper of JEE Mains 2023 exam

Age limit: The candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. SC/ST and PwD candidates have been given a relaxation of five years.

Number of attempts: The candidates can appear for JEE Advanced 2023 exam only twice a year.

Class 12 subjects: The candidates should have appeared for Class 12 exams for the first time either in 2022 or 2023, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
