Try NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has begun the registration process for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 for candidates who qualified in JEE Main 2026. Candidates securing ranks among top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main can apply for JEE Advanced on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Applicants must log in using their JEE Main application number and password to complete the process.
The last date to submit the JEE Advanced 2026 application form is May 2, while the fee payment window will remain open until May 4.
The registration fee is Rs 3,200 for candidates from the unreserved category, while female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories are required to pay Rs 1,600. Candidates from reserved categories must also upload valid category certificates during the application process.
JEE Advanced entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 17, 2026.

JEE Advanced 2026: How to apply
Eligible candidates can apply for JEE Advanced 2026 by following the below steps

Visit the official JEE Advanced candidate portal and log in using your JEE Main 2026 application number and password.

Complete the application form by entering additional details such as preferred exam cities (choose 8 options) and Class 12 roll number; basic details will be auto-filled.

Upload required documents in PDF format (50–300 KB), including Class 10 certificate,birth certificate, Class 12 marksheet (if available), and category,PwD certificate (if applicable).

Pay the application fee online through net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI before May 4, 2026.

The fee is Rs 1,600 for female, SC,ST,PwD candidates and Rs 3,200 for others.

After successful payment, download and print the registration confirmation page for future reference.
JEE Advanced 2026: Exam Pattern
JEE Advanced 2026 will include two compulsory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, each conducted for a duration of three hours. Candidates are required to appear for both papers. Each paper will have three sections covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. While each paper will last 3 hours (180 minutes) for most candidates, those in the PwD category will be given an extended duration of 4 hours (240 minutes) per paper.
