JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Live Updates (April 9): JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 has been concluded for both the 1st and 2nd shift on April 9. The paper-1 is being held in computer-based mode across 370 test centres across India and abroad on April 8, 9, 10 & 12, 2019. As per NTA, over 8 lakh candidates are appearing for JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 examination. Students appearing for JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 exam need to report at their respective exam centres at least two hours prior to the commencement of the examination. JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Live Updates April 9 (Afternoon Session)

In the JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 afternoon slot on April 9, the overall level of the test was between moderate to difficult. The pattern was almost the same as that of the January session. Chemistry section was the high scoring area. The Physics section was moderate to difficult while the Chemistry section was very easy with some questions came directly from NCERT book. The difficulty level of the Maths section was also moderate with lengthy questions. 

In the Mathematics section, the questions were structured similarly to the January session examination and the questions were from Coordinate, 2D, 3D and Differential Calculus. In the Physics section, there was maximum no. of questions from Mechanics, Electrostatic & Magnetism. Questions were based on numerical making the Physics section slightly difficult. In Chemistry, questions from Biomolecules, Polymers and Chemistry were easy. 

5:30 PM: Gates are opened and the students are coming out of the examination centre.

5:20 PM: Parents and others are eagerly waiting outside the centre to know the exam status of the students. Gates are about to open in 10 minutes.

4:25 PM: Parents are gathering near the exam centre to receive their children.

2:18 PM: Gates closed for the afternoon session.

2:15 PM: Guards are giving the final call to the candidates.

2:10 PM: Guard allows a latecomer to go inside the examination centre.

01:55 PM: The gate is about to close. They are asking students to enter the exam centre fast.

01:40 PM: Guard is announcing near the exam centre gate about what to carry and what not to carry.

01:30 PM: Huge crowd gathered at the front of the exam centre gate. 

01:25 PM: Guards are giving instructions to the students to bring valid admit card, one original photo id proof and one photograph. 

01:15 PM: Students are entering into the exam centre for the 2nd session.

01:00 PM: Entry for the second session opened. 

JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 Live Updates April 9 (Forenoon Session)

As per the student's review, forenoon session of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 exam was not too difficult. But the difficulty level of the paper is the same as compared with the January session. Check below to know the difficulty level of paper 1 section wise,

  • Physics was the toughest part. Questions came from Electrostatic, Optics etc.
  • Chemistry was easy as usual. Mostly questions asked from the NCERT book. The major part was Organic Chemistry. 
  • Mathematics was moderate. Topics covered- Relation functions, probability and Trigonometry.

12:30 PM: JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 for April session concluded.

12:25 PM: Candidates starts coming to the exam centre for the afternoon session.

9:25 AM: Gate closed for the first session.

9:10 AM: Student entered at the wrong gate number. Last minute entry happening as usual.

9:05 AM: Guard informing parents about the nearby restaurant and place to rest. They asked parents to come at 12:30 PM.

9:00 AM: Guard insisting students to rush and announcing that the gate to be closed soon.

8:51 AM: Gate is about to close. Students rushing to enter the exam centre.

8:45 AM: Most of the students have entered into the examination centre.

8:30 AM: Candidates are entering into the exam centre slowly.

8:15 AM: Guards are informing that pen and water bottles are not allowed in the exam hall. Students can carry money if they want.

8:00 AM: Students are entering with admit card and original id proof.

7:50 AM: Guard announcing about the items prohibited.

7:40 AM: Instructions about the admit card is being announced by the guards.

7:30 AM: Gate opened for the forenoon session.

7:20 AM: Students along with their parents checking for allotted exam hall.

7:00 AM: Students started coming to the exam centre.
