NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 2 - National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notification stating that the application process of JEE Main 2020 will now commence from September 3, 2019. The public notice does not specify any particular reason for the postponement of the date, however, the candidates will now have to wait for one more day to get registered for the January session of JEE Main 2020. The application form was scheduled to be released today as per the earlier released JEE Main 2020 schedule.

JEE Main 2020 application form will be available in online mode. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to submit their personal, academic and contact details. Candidates are also advised to check the official eligibility criteria before registering for the exam since ineligible candidates will be disqualified.
About JEE Main 2020
The first session of JEE Main 2020 will be conducted from January 6 to 11. The examination will be a computer based test (drawing section of Paper II will be pen and paper based). JEE Main 2020 is held annually to provide admissions into B.Tech/B.Arch seats offered by NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
