JEE Main 2020: Check arrangement across states for reaching exam centre
NEW DELHI: Students who would be appearing for JEE Main 2020 from September 1 to 6 have a reason to worry beside the exam; how they will reach their exam centre. Many states still have lock-downs in various parts of cities, some are seriously affected by floods. Transportation services are still not operational in many states. Aspirants from Delhi, the student hub faces the same situations as metro are still nonoperational.
Students are raising their concern in social media about the difficulties in reaching the exam centre due to unavailability of transport services. While many states, local authorities and volunteers have come up to help students reach their exam centres for JEE Main, there’s a lot more required.
Madhya Pradesh has announced free buses from district headquarters for students to appear in NEET and JEE Main 2020. Governments. Orissa, which is under lockdown, has announced to lift it on exam days to allow hassle free movement of students to appear in exams.
The alumni associations of many IITs have developed a dedicated portal called edulife which will help students get a ride to reach their exam centres.
Many private coaching students are reportedly arranging for the cabs to helps their students reach the exam centres.
