New Delhi: National Testing Agency is conducting JEE Main 2020 in online mode from January 6 to 9, 2020. Paper 2 of JEE Main 2020 January session has already been concluded on January 6. Yesterday was the first day for JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 for the January session. Candidates who appeared for yesteday's sessions of JEE Main Paper 1 told that the paper was of average difficulty level, Mathematics section being the toughest and Chemistry the most easiest. 5: 55 PM: Ricky and Lakshay say "The paper was easy. Mathematics and Chemistry were very easy and Physics was of moderate difficulty level. Coordinate geometry had major weigtage. In Chemistry there were 3 questions from Coordination Compounds. There were some questions from Mechanics and Electrostats in the Physics section. Modern Physics had very less questions."

5: 50 PM: Shivani says "The paper was very good. The Mathematics section of the paper was a bit lengthy and I wasn't able to attempt Physics completely. Chemistry was the easiest section and most of the questions were from class 11 syllabus. Chemistry had very easy formula based numericals.

5: 48 PM: Pooja says "The exam was moderately difficult. The Mathematics section was the most difficult whereas Physics and Chemistry were easy. The numerical value questions were formula based. I am expecting more than 100 marks."

5:45 PM: Jaimala "My exam went very good. I found Physics the most difficult. Chemistry was the easiest section and I attempted 22 questions. Mathematics was of average difficulty level. The numerical value questions were easy except for the Physics section.

5:38 PM: JEE Main 2020 afternoon shift for January had has ended. Students have started coming out of the exam centre.

5:25 PM: The afternoon shift of the exam is going to end in the next 5 minutes. Parents are waiting to receive their wards outside the gates of the exam centre.

2:30 PM: The afternoon shift of JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 has started in online mode. The exam will be of 3 hour duration and will be concluded at 5:30 PM.

1:40 PM: The entry gates of exam centres have been opened for students appearing for the afternoon session of JEE Main 2020 January session. Candidates can show their admit card and a valid Photo ID.

1:30 PM: It has started to rain again at many exam centres in Delhi and NCR. Students are waiting outside the exam halls. The entry inside the examination hall has not started yet.

12:55 PM: Students have started coming for the afternoon session of JEE Main 2020 Paper 1. Gates of the exam hall will be open for students from 1:30 PM. The exam will start at 2:30 PM.

12:42 PM: Khushi says "My paper went just fine, Mathematics was the toughest section, I thought Mathematics was my strong point but I could not solve many questions. Physics had questions from Waves. I am expecting marks above 100."

12:40 PM: Chinmay says "The paper was traumatising, exactly what my seniors told me about the exam. Physics was the most challenging section, Chemistry was very easy and Mathematics was SUPER TOUGH and TERRIBLE. Simple topics had very complicated questions."

12:35 PM: Aayushmaan says " The paper was of moderate difficulty level, Physics was a bit difficult, Chemistry and Mathematics were easy. Calculus section in Mathematics was very easy, personally I found the Algebra questions difficult. I am expecting to get more 200 marks."

12:30 PM: The forenoon session of JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 has ended, students have started to come out of the exam centre.

12:15 PM: The last few minutes of the forenoon session, the exam will be concluded in another 15 minutes. As soon as the paper ends we will have paper analysis straight from the students who appeared for the exam. Stay tuned.

11:50 AM: The forenoon shift of JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 will be concluded at 12:30 PM. The rains in the Delhi/NCR region have stopped a long while back and parents can be seen waiting for their wards to come out of the exam centre.

9:50 AM: Another major update, the authorities have announced that students will be allowed to enter the exam hall till 10 AM in view of the bad weather conditions. Also, the guy who was asked to return back from the exam hall has been allowed to enter the exam hall after an interesting turn of events.

9:45 AM: An uncanny incident at a Gurugram exam centre. Authorities asked a student to return back from the exam hall. the candidate was very furious while returning back and threw his admit card in anger. The authorities are trying to contact him through the mobile number on the admit card.

9:30 AM: The forenoon shift of JEE Main Paper 1 has started. The exam will be concluded at 12:30 PM.

9:15 AM: Late entrants have started to come in. The guards are allowing students to enter the exam hall till 9:25 AM.

8:30 AM: The entry gates of the exam hall have opened for students. Candidates can get inside the JEE Main exam centre by showing their admit card and a valid ID proof.

8:20 AM: It is raining at some of the exam centres in Delhi and NCR region. Parents of candidates are trying to find some shade in the nearby shops and places.

7:50 AM: Students have started to arrive for the first shift of JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 January 8. The entry gates of the exam hall will open at 8:30 AM. Students are being accompanied by their parents at the exam hall.
