New Delhi- National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main 2020 paper 2 result on the official website. Candidates can now check their results from the JEE Main website by entering their application number and password or application number and date of birth. The result of JEE Main 2020 paper 2 will contain the subject-wise and total NTA scores of the candidates. These NTA scores are the normalized scores across the two sessions of the exam. JEE Main 2020 paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning was conducted on January 6 in two shifts. As per the NTA data, 138409 candidates registered for B.Arch and 59003 candidates registered for B. Planning. Out of these, 112679 Candidates appeared for B.Arch and 44517 candidates appeared for B.Planning.

Steps to check JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 Result

  1. Visit the JEE Main 2020 Portal: jeemain.nic.in

  1. Click on the result link

  1. Login using Application Number and Password or Application Number and Date of Birth

  1. After a successful login, the result will be displayed on screen

  1. Download the result and take a print for future reference.

Key Points about JEE Main 2020 Paper 2 result

  • NTA Scores are normalized scores across multi session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.

  • NTA score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained.

  • The NTA Score indicates the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) a particular candidate in that session.

  • The NTA scores of a Candidate have been calculated by using the given formula:

(100 X Number of candidates appeared in the 'Session' with raw score equal to or less than the candidate)/total number of the candidates appeared in the 'Session'

  • The total NTA Score is not an aggregate or average of the NTA Score of an individual subject.
