JEE Main 2020 photo correction facility started; check steps to rectify

NEW DELHI, September 13: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the photo correction facility of JEE Main 2020 for January attempt in online mode. To access the photograph correction facility, candidates have to log in to the official website by using the application number of JEE Main and password. There is a chance of rejection of the application form if the photos are not as per the specifications mentioned by NTA. So, If any discrepancies in the uploaded image, it should be rectified by using this facility.

How to access JEE Main photo correction 2020 - January session

• Open the official website of JEE Main - jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on the ‘Fill Online Application Form’ link.
• Sign in to the website by entering the application number and password.
• Now, candidates can upload a new photo.

Reasons for JEE Main Photo Correction?

The following are the major reasons for image correction in the JEE Main application form 2020.

• The image may be blurred
• Not acceptable background
• The photo may not be as per specifications
• Signature is not clear
• The specs worn by the candidate may have shown a red eye
• Image of signature is not as per specifications
• Signature is in Black letters

About JEE Main

NTA conducts JEE Main twice a year (January and April) in computer-based mode only for admissions to various B.E/B.Tech courses offered by 25 IIITs, 31 NITs and 28 GFTIs. The last date to submit the online application form for the January session is September 30, 2019.
