NEW DELHI: The union human resources development minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has assured all the candidates appearing for both JEE Main and NDA that dates for the two exams will not clash.

The MHRD has taken consign of the matter and all possible measures will be taken to avoid clash of the exams.

JEE Main is scheduled to be conducted from September 1 to 6 and at the same time NDA is scheduled for September 6. Many candidates, who have applied for both the exams have taken up to twitter and other social media platforms requesting the minister to ensure that the two exams do not clash.
In a tweet, Pokhriyal said, “I have received representations from many students regarding the clash of dates of JEE Main with NDA. The matter has been examined. Students appearing in JEE Main, who could not update that they are also appearing in the NDA exam scheduled on 6th Sept, should not worry”.

“DG NTA will ensure that the two exams don’t clash for candidates appearing for both the exams”, he added.
NTA also allowed all the JEE Main candidates to provide details on whether they would also be appearing for NDA during the correction window from July 4 to 20 to allow candidates. However, if candidates missed the chance, they can be assured that the exam dates will not clash.
