NEW DELHI, APRIL 6: National Testing Agency will be starting the April session of JEE Main 2019 from tomorrow i.e., April 7. Paper 2 (B.Arch) will be conducted for both shifts on April 7, 2019. The paper will be computer based, however, the drawing section will be pen and paper based. JEE Main 2019 Paper I will be conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. 

Since the examination is very important, the candidates are required to avoid making mistakes which may prove fatal for them. Given below are some mistakes that should be avoided in JEE Main April 2019.

JEE Main April 2019 - 5 Mistakes to Avoid

  • Late Coming is a No-No: The candidates are advised to make sure that they reach the exam centre at least an hour before the reporting time to avoid last minute hassle.

  • JEE Main admit card is a must: The admit card of JEE Main April 2019 is an essential document and has to be carried to the examination centre along with a passport size photograph. Failure to produce the admit card to the examination centre will lead to disqualification of the candidates. All of the requisite documents along with the admit card also has to be produced at the examination centre.

  • Avoid carrying any prohibited items to the exam centre: Candidates are advised not to carry any textual material, calculators, docu pen, slide rules, log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, pager or any other device to the exam centre.

  • Do not carry baggage: The candidates will not be allowed to carry any baggage inside the examination centre. Since there will be no surety whether exam premises will have baggage counter or not, the candidates are advised to avoid any extra baggage. JEE Apex Board will not be responsible for any belongings stolen or lost at the premises.

  • Keep your panic aside: Since this is the day that engineering aspirants wait for, it is obvious and understandable for them to panic. Candidates are suggested to keep calm and not panic since that will not be of much help. It is just an exam and your life is not dependent on it.
