NEW DELHI, APRIL 7: National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully concluded Paper 2 of JEE Main April 2019. The examination was conducted in two sessions - forenoon (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and afternoon (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). Paper II was held as an entrance examination into the B.Arch course offered by the participating institutes. While the aptitude and Mathematics section was conducted in computer based mode, the drawing section was held in pen and paper mode.

As per the analysis, Paper 2 of  JEE Main April 2019 was moderately difficult. As compared to the January session, the paper was seen by many as comparatively easier. However, many students also claimed that the difficulty level was similar. Overall, the difficulty level of the paper was moderate. 

The examination consisted of 50 aptitude, 30 Mathematics and 3 drawing questions. Each session of JEE Main April 2019 Paper 2 was 3 hour long and the total marks was 390. 

JEE Main April 2019 Paper 2 (Forenoon) Student Analysis

According to the students who attempted the forenoon session of Paper 2, the aptitude and drawing sections were easy. However, Mathematics was tough. Students lacking in drawing skills found the drawing section difficult. Questions from 3-D, conic, probability, integration and more were asked in the Mathematics section. Most of the questions were from the 11th and 12th standard syllabus. General knowledge questions were mainly asked in the aptitude section.
