JEXPO 2020 exam cancelled; application process restarts for admissions
NEW DELHI: West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development has announced that the JEXPO 2020 exam has been cancelled. According to the notification, the entrance examination will not be conducted this year due to the present situation under COVID-19. Details regarding the method for preparation of merit list and admission guidelines will be released soon at the official website.
However, the authorities have re-released JEXPO online application form on August 14. Students can now apply for admission in online mode till August 31, 2020 (11:59 PM). All of the required details have to be submitted in the application form. Those candidates who had previously registered for JEXPO 2020 do not have to apply again.
JEXPO 2020 exam date was earlier announced to be April 26, however, it had to be postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. Now, that the exam has been cancelled, it is likely that admissions will be done on the basis of the secondary qualifying examination.
JEXPO is a pen and paper based examination which is conducted every year to provide admissions into engineering, technology and architecture courses in various self-financed polytechnics across the state of West Bengal.
