Jharkhand NMMS 2023 registration begins; exam on December 17
JAC NMMS 2023: Eligible students can apply for the scholarship exam through the official website, jac-nmms.com till November 17.

NEW DELHI: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has commenced the application process for National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023. Eligible students can apply for JAC NMMS 2023 through the official website, jac-nmms.com.

Students should note that the Jharkhand NMMS registration window will close on November 17, 2023. NMMS Jharkhand 2023-24 exam is scheduled to be held on December 17, 2023.

The scholarship scheme provides financial assistance of Rs 12,000 for selected students in Class 9 to 12. Students pursuing their studies in private schools and students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sainik schools are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Jharkhand NMMS 2023: Eligibility criteria
Interested students should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in Class 7 to apply for JAC NMMS scholarship 2023. Apart from this, the annual parental income of the student should be less than or equal to Rs 3.5 lakh.
Student must score at least 55% mark (5% relaxation for reserved categories) in the class 8 examination to get a Scholarship in Class 9.
Students must pass Class 9 to get a scholarship in Class 10. The student must secure 60% marks in Class 10 (5% relaxation for reserved categories) to get a scholarship in Class 11. Similarly, the student pass Class 11 to get the scholarship in Class 12.

Students can follow the easy steps given below to register for JAC NMMS scheme 2023.
- Visit the JAC NMMS official website, nmms.com.
- On the homepage, click on registration link.
- Enter the registration details and click on submit.
- Once done, login to the account.
- Fill the application form and upload the required documents, photos and signatures
- Download and take a printout for further references.
