New Delhi, April 10: Candidates who haven't yet filled the application form of JIPMER 2019 have to fill the form latest by April 12. After the cutoff date, no applications will be accepted. The application form is available in online mode and is open to candidates who meet the eligibility prescribed for the exam. Filling of application form is mandatory for appearing in JIPMER 2019 entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry for admission to MBBS course.
A total of 200 MBBS seats are available at the two campuses of JIPMER - JIPMER, Puducherry campus (150) and JIPMER, Karaikal campus (50 seats).

How to fill JIPMER application form
Registration - Before being able to fill the form, one needs to first get registered by entering one’s name, DOB, email id, and mobile number.
Login to applicant account and fill application form - The candidate has to next login to the newly created account to access the application form. The form will have various sections like personal, qualification, and other details which will have to be properly furnished. The candidate also has to select exam centres (a maximum of three choices allowed) in the order of preference.
Uploading of documents - In this step, the candidate has to upload scanned documents, including photograph, signature, and category certificate in the prescribed format.
Payment of application fee - The candidate has to next pay the application fee. Please refer to the table below to check category-wise fee details.

No correction window will be provided
Candidates need to take note that JIPMER authority is unlikely to provide any correction window to make changes to submitted application forms. So it is important that one bears caution when filling the application form, including payment of application fee only for the category to which one belongs to. Further, use one genuine and verifiable information for filling the application form. Any candidate who furnishes misleading information may be barred from the application process altogether.
Issue of admit cards and conduct of exam
Candidates who successfully complete the application submission process will be issued admit cards from May 20 onward. The admit card will contain details like the roll number of the candidate, name and address of allotted exam centre, and date and time of the exam. JIPMER 2019 will be conducted in computer-based mode on June 2; the exam will be conducted in two shifts - morning (10.00 AM to 12.30 PM) and afternoon (3.00 PM to 5.30 PM).
