NEW DELHI: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the first mock seat allocation on October 12 on the official website at josaa.nic.in. Candidates can access the same through JoSAA candidate portal by logging in using their JEE Main application number and password. The first JoSAA 2020 mock allotment has been announced for candidates who completed their choice filling till October 11. The mock seat allotment of JoSAA 2020 gives the result of the first round of counselling keeping regard with the options and order of preference of the options saved by the candidates who have registered till then.

JoSAA first mock allocation of seats shall give candidates an idea of what candidates can expect in the first JoSAA counselling session. Through this, candidates will have a chance to make corrections in the choices filled by candidates and the order of preference as well.
The main aim behind releasing JoSAA 2020 first mock seat allotment is for candidates to ensure that the details filled by candidates during JoSAA choice filling. In case they do not find the best results in JoSAA seat allocation in the first mock round, they can make changes in their preference.
The authorities are going to announce JoSAA 2020 second mock seat allocation on October 14. The same will be announced for candidates who will complete the JoSAA choice filling by October 13.
