The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will conduct the Karnataka 2nd PUC English paper tomorrow, March 3, 2026. According to the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam timings, the English paper will begin at 10 am, and it will end at 1 pm.
As per the Karnataka 2nd PUC English exam pattern 2026, the theory paper will be conducted for 80 marks, and 20 marks will be given for internal assessment. Students will get three hours to write the Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 1, along with 15 minutes to read the question paper.
Notably, the board will give extra time to differently-abled students, including 60 extra minutes for a 3-hour paper. Accordingly, the exam for PwD candidates will be held from 10 am to 2 pm.

Students who are going to appear for the exam should carry their Karnataka 2nd PUC hall ticket 2026. Without the hall ticket, students will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
The Karnataka 2nd PUC English question paper 2026 includes questions from prose, poetry, and supplementary lessons in the textbook. It also has grammar questions, comprehension passages, and writing tasks such as letter writing, report writing, or an essay.
The English 2nd PUC question paper 2026 includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs), fill-in-the-blanks, and short and long answer questions, divided into Parts A to E. Students must score at least 33% marks to pass, and there is no negative marking.
According to the official notice by the KSEAB, the practical and oral exams for JTS students (subjects 56, 57, 58, and 59) will be held on April 4 at their respective schools.
Students will be allowed to enter the exam halls with a valid Karnataka 2nd PUC hall ticket. No additional permission or principal’s signature is required to enter. Students will have to report by 9 am, one hour before the exam begins.
The board has installed CCTV cameras in all the examination centres connected to the command control room for centralised monitoring. To prevent irregularities, flying squads and district-level high-powered committees led by senior officers have been set up.
The Karnataka 2nd PUC English exam 2026 will be held tomorrow from 10 am to 1 pm. The question paper is expected to be balanced, score-based, covering comprehension, grammar and writing sections, with clear and manageable questions.
