Karnataka NEET PG 2023 registration extends; apply by August 13
Karnataka NEET PG Counselling: Candidates can register online for medical and dental programmes from 2 pm today to August 13 by 6 pm.

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the registration for Karnataka National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG counselling 2023. Eligible candidates can register for Karnataka PG medical, dental counselling 2023 till August 13 by 6 pm on the official website of KEA, kea.kar.nic.in.
Candidates who have qualified for the PG NEET 2023 or the NEET MDS exam but were not able to register in KEA, can register, apply online and pay the fees through the portal from 2 pm today. The candidates who have registered but have not completed the application can also register.

An official statement from the authority read, “For admissions to PG Medical and PG Dental courses, frequent opportunities were given to register and apply online for PGET-2023 from 26-07-2023 to 31-07-2023 and from 02-08-2023 to 03-08-2023. But still on the request of the PGNEET qualified candidates and in the interest of the student community, a final chance is given once again to register and to apply online to become eligible for PG Medical and PG Dental admissions 2023 in the state of Karnataka as per the eligibility criteria.”
The candidates registering from today will have to appear for offline document verification with all the original documents on the specified dates provided by KEA. The authority has advised the candidates to complete the registration and application process before the last date, as no further extension will be provided.

The authority has also provided the PG NEET cutoff for the session 2023 as per the notice from the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The general category cutoff is 291 and for Karnataka candidates belonging to SC, ST category it is 257. For NEET MDS 2023, the cutoff for the general category is 272, and for Karnataka candidates belonging to SC, and ST categories it is 238.
KEA further stated that “ Non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation. Hence, in the NEET-PG 2023 / NEET MDS 2023 examination, if they have scored the required minimum 50th percentile or above, fixed for the ‘GENERAL (UR)’ category as per the qualifying criteria, then only they are eligible to register for admissions through KEA in the State of Karnataka.”
