NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 exam. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam was earlier scheduled to be held on July 13 and 14. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 revised exam dates will be announced soon.

Many students urged KEA to postpone Karnataka PGCET 2024 because final semester exams at certain universities were scheduled to commence on July 5 and 10, 2024. "Many students have submitted the requests to KEA for postponement of PGCET-2024 exam scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th July 2024 as few Universities are commencing final semester exams from 5th and 10th July, 2024. To protect the student's interest, KEA has postponed the PGCET-2024 exam scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th July 2024 and the revised dates will be published in the KEA website in due course."
KEA has also announced that the Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration window will re-open for MBA, MCA, ME, MTech and MArch courses from tomorrow, June 26. Candidates will be able to apply for Karnataka pGCET 2024 till July 7 upto 11:59 pm. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 registration fee payment window will close on July 9 at 6:00 pm.
Candidates belonging to the General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are required to pay Rs 650 as Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee. On the other hand, the Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) is Rs 500. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 application fee can be paid through credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking service.
The Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be conducted in one shift. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode. The medium of the exam is English. For MBA and MCA candidates, the question paper will feature 100 multiple-choice questions, each worth one mark. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 paper will be divided into four sections.
