NEW DELHI FEBRUARY 26: Candidates who wish to appear for KCET 2019 need to hurry up. Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will be closing the registration process for KCET 2019 on February 28. The authorities have released the application form on February 1 in online mode.

The application process of KCET 2019 includes the steps like registration, submitting personal, academic details, uploading of required documents, payment of fees and more. However, candidates can pay the application fee of KCET 2019 till March 6 in online mode.

Who can apply?

To appear for KCET, it’s mandatory for candidates to qualify 12th standard examination. They should have secured atleast 45% aggregate marks in the three subjects in 12th standard examination. In case of SC/ST/OBC candidates, the aggregate is atleast 40%. Therefore, candidates are advised to check and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria before proceeding towards filling the application form.

Steps to fill KCET 2019 application form

  • Get register by submitting all the essential details.
  • Filling of KCET 2019 application form with personal, academic and contact information.
  • Uploading of scanned documents in prescribed format.
  • Pay the application form through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (e-challan).
  • Submit the application form and take a printout of it. The print out has to be attested by Principal of 12th standard of the institute/school/college that the candidate is currently studying at or by any Gazetted Officer.

What if details submitted are incorrect in application form?

In case you have committed any error while filling the application form of KCET 2019, you don’t need to worry. Authorities will open the correction facility from March 19 to 25 when you can rectify the error.

KCET 2019 will be held on April 23 ( Paper I- Mathematics) and 24 (Paper II- Physics & Chemistry) in offline mode. The entrance examination is held for admissions into the participating engineering colleges of the state.
