NEW DELHI: KEA has concluded Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for both Physics and Chemistry on July 31 after KCET Maths and Biology exam on July 30. Karnataka Examination Authority conducted KCET exams in approximately 497 exam centres in 127 locations wherein almost 1.47 lakh students appeared including 60 COVID-19 positive. All latest instructions can be checked at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in 2020. Various coaching institutes like DR Academy and Allen have released answer keys for KCET Physics 2020 and Chemistry papers. KCET answer keys for Mathematics and Biology exams were released a day before.

KEA has released the official answer key of KCET 2020 for all the subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Candidates can download the KCET 2020 official answer key by simply clicking on the answer key link. KCET answer key contains the answers to all the questions asked in the exam.
Candidates can also raise objections to the provisional answer key of KCET 2020 till August 8 (5.30 PM). Objections can be raised in online mode through a link available for the same on the website. Candidates must attach supporting documents with their claims. The authorities will now release the final answer key of KCET 2020 after considering the objections if any.
Coaching institutes like DR Academy has released the unofficial answer key of KCET 2020 for Physics and Chemistry papers conducted today. Candidates can now check these unofficial KCET answer keys 2020 to compare their answers and calculate their probable scores.
The official KCET 2020 answer key is expected to be released in a day as per previous trends. Last year, the official answer key of KCET was released one day after the exam. So, it is expected that a similar trend will be followed this year too.
KCET Chemistry exam has concluded at the 497 exam centres set up by KEA. The KCET paper analysis for Chemistry from students and experts suggest a moderate to easy test where students with good preparation can score well.
KCET Chemistry was said to be easy for many with more from II PUC as compared to IPUC.
KEA has commenced the KCET Chemistry exam 2020 at 2.30 pm. The exam duration is 80 minutes and candidates have to answer 60 questions during this time. The KCET Chemistry answer key will be released by coaching centres with expert KCET exam analysis on the difficulty levels of the entrance test.

Students complained about the bad arrangements and not following of social distancing norms yesterday also. Students are now considering KCET 2020 exam conduction as a failure and have started demanding the postponement of upcoming exams of JEE Main 2020, NEET 2020, etc.
KCET 2020 Physics analysis will be soon provided by the experts. Leading coaching centres will also release the KCET 2020 Physics answer key pdf. KCET Chemistry paper will now commence at 2.30 pm.
KCET 2020 exam for Physics will end at 11.50 am and the exam analysis for Physics paper will be released by the leading coaching institutes after the conclusion of the exam. Coaching institutes will also provide the KCET 2020 Physics answer key pdf after the exam. Candidates will be able to calculate their probable marks using the answer key.
CET 2020 exam for Chemistry will start at 2.30 pm and end at 3.50 pm. KCET Chemistry paper analysis and answer key will also be available after the conclusion of the session.
The second day of KCET exam has two papers as per schedule. KCET Physics paper has started at 10.30 am and will end at 11.50 am. Both Physics and Chemistry are mandatory papers. Candidates have to answer 60 MCQs within 80 minutes.
Biology and Maths which were held yesterday are optional ie. candidates have to appear for only one. Candidates may note that they will have to follow all safety precautions in light of COVID-19 to keep safe.
KCET 2020 Physics answer key will be available from coaching centres once the exam concludes.
KCET 2020 exam for Physics and Chemistry will be conducted today in two sessions. Physics exam will start at 10.30 am while the second session of KCET 2020 Chemistry exam will start at 2.30 pm. Both the papers will be of 1.20 hours and will have 60 multiple-choice questions. Candidates appearing for the KCET 2020 exam today must check the exam day guidelines.

Most students who have appeared for KCET Maths have felt that the paper was easy to moderate difficulty levels. With good preparation, chances of scoring are well. The paper has a good number of questions from the I PUC as well as II PUC unlike Biology where students felt that the questions from I PUC were very less in comparison.
The official KCET answer key can be expected in a day or so once the exam concludes tomorrow. If past trends are to be followed, KEA released the official KCET answer key (2019) one day after the exam concluded. Candidates can use the KCET Maths answer key to check the correct answers and estimate their probable marks.
Resonance BASE has released the KCET Maths answer key for the exam held today. The KCET answer key 2020 for Maths and Biology from coaching centres are now available for candidates to check and estimate their KCET marks in these subjects.
The experts have given the KCET exam analysis for Maths as
"The paper consists of 17 questions from I PU and 43 from II PU portions. All the questions are within the prescribed syllabus of I PU and II PU. A well prepared student can score a maximum of 90%. Overall it is an easy and moderate paper."
While Biology and Maths have concluded today, Physics and Chemistry will be held tomorrow. In light of this, candidates must keep track of the exam day guidelines to be followed. Most students have complained that there were no safety precautions taken in most exam centres. There were no sanitizers or guidelines for social distancing. Students had to maintain their own precautions and many expressed their anger on twitter.

KCET Maths answer keys are being searched by many students to know the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. It is expected that leading coaching centres will release the KCET Maths answer key shortly. The experts have to give the solutions based on the question papers submitted by their students.
One student spoke to Careers360 and said, " KCET Biology question paper was quite easy for me. Questions from 1st PU was very very less. You can say more questions came from PU 2. Some of my friends found KCET exam for Biology a bit tough. Questions like Oogenesis graph were also asked. Other questions in KCET 2020 Biology were from floral diagrams and fungi examples."
Resonance BASE has already published the KCET exam analysis for Biology. It also has released the KCET 2020 Biology answer key too.
According to its experts,
"A student who has prepared well from the NCERT Biology Textbooks, as well as learnt concepts thoroughly will easily ace the exam. An above average student can easily score between 55 and 60. The questions are clear and many are thought - provoking. A few chapters from 1st year have not been tested. Overall, the question paper is balanced with almost equal number of questions from Botany and Zoology. The 1st year concepts have 15 questions while 2nd year has 45 questions, thus following the usual ratio of 25 : 75. Most questions were memory based. No ambiguous questions or choices with clearly printed diagrams. There is one error in the spelling in Question no. 14, question no. 23 tests current affairs in a related ecology topic."
KEA concluded the KCET Maths 2020 exam at 3.50 pm today. The CET exam for Maths was held across 491 exam centres in the state. Candidates had to answer 60 questions in 80 minutes. CET is a pen and paper based exam. Leading coaching centres are expected to give the KCET answer key soon for all sets of the Maths question papers. The KCET exam analysis for Maths by students and experts will also be available soon.

The exam was held from 10.30 am to 11.50 am. KEA has released KCET exam day instructions for COVID +ve students on kea.kar.nic.in. Students are expected to carry their CET hall ticket to the exam centres along with a photo ID to be allowed to appear for the exam. KCET Maths exam is scheduled in the afternoon from 2.30 to 3.50 pm.
