NEW DELHI: The Higher Education Department of Karnataka has announced the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2024 fee structure Engineering and Architecture courses. The KCET 2024 fee structure has been made available for candidates on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

For government colleges, University of Mysore and constituent colleges of Visvesvaraya Technical University (VTU), the fee for the first year is Rs 42,116, which includes university and other fees, and Rs 35,016 for each subsequent year. This structure applies to 50% of the seats in these institutions under the government quota in private aided colleges.
Additionally, the Visvesvaraya College of Engineering University (UVCE) Bangalore, established as a separate institution modeled after IITs according to the Visvesvaraya College of Engineering University Act 2021, has set its first-year fee at Rs 47,250, inclusive of all fees, with a tuition fee of Rs 30,000. For subsequent years, the fee is Rs 45,750 annually.
For private colleges under VTU Belgaum, the fee for the remaining 50% of seats in undergraduate courses is a minimum of Rs 76,135 for government quota seats, plus an optional skill fee. For COMEDK quota seats, the fee is Rs 2,61,477. Detailed information regarding these fees will be published by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) soon.
