NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) said that it will provide the facility to edit the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 application after the exam. KCET 2024 will be held on April 18 and 19 for admission to engineering, medical, pharmacy, and other professional programmes offered by state colleges.

“Editing of applications will be allowed only after the CET is conducted for admission to various professional courses. The CET exam will be held on the 18th and 19th. The date for allowing editing will be announced soon,” said KEA in a social media post.

Today is the last day to apply and make fee payment for the KCET exam 2024 as the exam authority extended the application correction deadline till April 1. While the KCET 2024 registration window closed at 4 pm, the fee payment facility is available till 8 pm.

Candidates who registered for the entrance exam during this period will be assigned Bangalore as the examination centre for KCET, KEA had informed.

Meanwhile, KEA is in the process of refunding the excess fee paid by candidates or those who cancelled their seats along with the caution money deposited by those who were not allotted a seat in 2022 and 2023 counselling. For refunding, the exam authority has asked for the bank details of candidates.

“To facilitate the candidates, year wise list of candidates who have not furnished the correct bank details are already hosted on the KEA website and such candidates are informed to enter their correct bank details through online by using their User ID and password on or before April 10,” KEA said in an official notice.
