New Delhi: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released application form for KCET 2020. Application form is available on the official website of KEA @ cetonline.karnataka.gov.in in online mode. Students seeking admission in B.Tech courses in institutes of Karnataka can fill the application form to appear in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). Students are also advised to ensure their eligibility before filling the application form. The KCET 2020 exam will be conducted on April 22 and 23 in offline mode as OMR based test. The step by step procedure to fill online application form is given below

Step 1- Open the official website of KCET 2020 @ cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

Step 2- Click on the “Apply Online” link

Step 3- Register using the basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number and date of birth etc. along with other details required

Step 4- Students will receive the registration number and password details in their mobile and email

Step 5- Login using the credentials received in mobile/email and fill the detailed application form

Step 6- Upload scanned documents of photograph and signature

Step 7- Pay the application fees in online mode

Step 8- After successful payment of application fees, form will be submitted automatically. Take a print of the form for future record.Candidates need not send the print of application form to KCET office.

KCET exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 of Mathematics and Paper 2 of Physics and Chemistry with objective type questions (MCQs). The exam will be of 3 hours duration with no negative marking. Result of the exam will be announced in May and counselling for admission and seat allotment will be conducted in June.
