NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) said it will not issue admit cards to candidates who have only selected UG NEET 2024 option in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024. Such students will be allowed to participate in seat allotment for medical, dental and Ayush courses, the KEA said. Admissions will be held through the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2024).

Students can download the KCET 2024 admit card on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. KEA will conduct Karnataka CET 2024 on April 18 and 19 for admission to undergraduate engineering, technology, agriculture, horticulture, veterinary science and animal husbandry, pharmacy and yoga.

Change of exam centre

The exam authority has also accepted the request of candidates to shift the examination centre from Kolar to Kalaburagi. KEA has started collecting candidates’ details who have erroneously changed the examination centre during the KCET 2024 form correction process.

Candidates who want to change their centre will have to submit a request through their principal of the pre-university college and will also have to submit a reason for the change.

The application should contain the candidate's name, application number, CET application number and a copy of KCET admit card. PU college principal will have to submit the list of such candidates to KEA on the email address keauthority-ka@nic.in. KEA will accept submission till 5 pm on April 12. “Applications submitted by candidates personally through email will not be entertained. Also, applications of those who have been allotted exam centres in Jewargi, Bidar and Yadgir, and are studying in Kalaburgi will not be accepted,” the KEA said.
