NEW DELHI: Kerala State Education Board (KSEB) has released the notification for Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET). The KTET 2021 notification is released on the official website of Kerala Pareekshabhavan - ktet.kerala.gov.in. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for KTET 2021 from April 28, 2021, onwards. The last date to apply for KTET is May 06, 2021. The exam dates have not been announced yet and it is expected to be released at least 20 days before the commencement of the exam.

The KTET notification has not mentioned the exam date for the KTET May 2021 session. Candidates who successfully apply will be issued the admit card in online mode.

KTET Application Process 2021

  • While filling the KTET application form 2021, candidates will have to first register themselves.

  • After registering they will have to use the credentials and login into the website.

  • Post logging in, they will have to enter the details wherever asked like name, parents name, details related to the academic qualification etc.

  • After filling in all the details they will have to pay the application fee in online mode only.

  • Only those candidates form will be accepted who have paid the online fee.

KTET 2021 Application Fee

The KTET application fee is Rs 500 for general category candidates and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PH/Blind category candidates. The application fee, once paid, will not be refunded.

Objective of KTET Exam 2021

The Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (KTET) is being conducted to make candidates eligible to apply as teachers for categories I - Lower Primary Classes (I-V), Category II - Upper Primary Classes (VI-VIII), Category III - High School Classes (IX-X) and Category IV - High School Classes (IX-X).
