Kerala SET July 2024 registration date extended; apply by April 25

NEW DELHI: The LBS Centre for Science and Technology has extended the registration deadline for the Kerala State Eligibility Test (KSET) July 2024. Eligible candidates will now be able to fill out the Kerala SET July 2024 application form by April 25 through the official website, lbscentre.kerala.gov.in.
Earlier, the deadline to fill out the Kerala SET application form for the July session was April 15, 2024. Candidates from unreserved (UR) and other backward classes (OBC) are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and persons with disability (PwD) should pay Rs 500 to register for the Kerala SET July 2024. The last date to make payment is July 27.
The Kerala SET July 2024 application form correction window will be open for three days from April 28 to 30, 2024. As per the official notice, there is no age limit to apply for Kerala SET July 2024. However, candidates from the first year of the postgraduate or Bachelor of Education (BEd) programme will not be eligible to apply for the exam.
Candidates in their final year of PG or BEd programme are required to submit a declaration form, attested by the principal while applying for the Kerala SET July 2024. The Kerala SET July 2024 is scheduled to be held on July 28 and the admit card will be out on July 17.

Kerala SET July 2024: Exam pattern
The Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) for July 2024 consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is common for all candidates and is divided into two parts including general knowledge and aptitude in teaching. Each part will have 60 questions carrying one mark.
Paper 2 is a subject-specific test based on the candidate’s specialisation at the postgraduate level. There are 31 subjects available for candidates to choose from for paper 2. Category-wise minimum pass percentage for both papers is given in the table below.
