New Delhi: The Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) Kerala is all set to conduct the KLEE 2020 entrance exam today (June 20) for the 3-year LLB program. The entrance exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. It may be noted that given the extended lockdown in the country owing to the COVID-19 situation, there were some doubts whether the exam would go ahead as planned. KLEE exam officials have issued some safety measures, like wearing masks, thermal screening, and social distancing norms that the candidates appearing in the exam have to follow.

These latest guidelines are meant to ensure the protection and safety of candidates and those accompanying them to the exam centre. In addition, there are other exam-specific guidelines that the candidates have to follow, including producing admit cards when the invigilator asks for it.

KLEE 2020 exam day guidelines:

  • Report at the allotted KLEE 2020 exam centre at designated time.

  • However, don’t come too early or form groups.

  • KLEE 2020 admit card and ID proof: In addition to the admit card, the applicant has to bring with them valid ID proofs like: Aadhaar card, voter ID, Driving License or PAN Card.

  • Parents and guardians are not allowed to enter inside the exam centre.

  • The candidate should carry more than one mask with them.

  • Mandatory protection gear and measures: The student should wear a mask at all times, and carry spare masks with them. Also, all students should ensure social distancing and undergo thermal screening. Once students report at the exam centre, they will be provided with gloves.

  • Essential items and exchange rules: The candidate must bring necessary items like pen, pencil, water and snacks to the exam centre. However, one cannot exchange these items with other candidates.

  • Barred items: Electronic items like smart watches, mobiles etc are not allowed.

  • How to enter the exam centre: Each exam centre will have only one entry point.

  • Access card to log-in to computer: The candidate will be issued access cards, which has to be kept safe and is required to take the online exam. The access card will contain details like the candidate’s seat number, username and password.

  • After entering the exam hall, the applicant must go and sit at their allotted seats and not move. All this has to be done by maintaining social distance and following instructions given by the invigilators.

  • Mock test: After reporting, the candidate will be given a mock test to help them acclimatise to the computer-based test.

  • The duration of the KLEE 2020 exam will be 2 hours and contain 200 MCQs.

  • Safety and security measures:The exam will be conducted following guidelines issued by the government and health authorities.

  • Discard gloves and masks after completion of exam: The candidate has to discard their gloves and masks before leaving the exam hall in the bins provided; also these items shouldn’t be thrown here and there.

  • Finally after the exam is over, the candidates may go home following instructions issued by officials.
