NEW DELHI - The Indian Institute of Management, Indore which is conducting the IIM for CAT 2020 exam has published the official notification and the media release. According to the CAT exam date, the Common Admission Test will be conducted on November 29. CAT exam 2020 registration will begin from August 5 and candidates can fill the application form till September 16. Before the CAT exam registration, candidates must check the eligibility criteria. Also, there are three sections from which the questions will be asked.

The eligibility criteria for the CAT exam includes the academic, age and nationality requirements which the candidates must meet so as to fill the CAT registration form. Students who are in the final year of graduation they are also eligible to fill the application form of CAT exam 2020
Fee of the CAT application form 2020
The fee for CAT exam is Rs 2000 for candidates who belong to the general category while those who are from the reserved category they will have to pay Rs 1000. Fees can be paid through online mode, net banking, debit and credit card.

In wake of widespread coronavirus, there were speculations among the CAT aspirants that there might be change in the way the management entrance test would be conducted. However, the air was cleared by CAT convener Professor Harshal Lowalekar who clearly stated that it is unlikely as of now that there will be any change in the exam pattern of CAT. He however added any decision for adopting a change in the way the exam will be conducted would be taken only at a later stage after reviewing the situation as to how the pandemic is panning out. According to the CAT syllabus candidates will have to answer questions from verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning and quantitative ability. As per the exam pattern of CAT, the exam will be of three hours and one hour will be for each section. Candidates will not be allowed to navigate between the sections.
