NEW DELHI: Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi has announced admissions to 5-year LLB programmes offered by its law school and affiliated law colleges. The application form along with the eligibility certificate has been released by the varsity in online mode, on its official website. Eligible candidates may submit duly filled application form at KSLU till September 10. However, with penal fine of Rs 300, the application can be submitted till September 21 and with a special fine of Rs 1000 the last date to admission is September 28.

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to the law programmes must fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university.
Educational qualification: The candidate must have passed pre-university examination or senior secondary or any equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.
Minimum marks required in qualifying examination
In case of general category candidates, the minimum marks in qualifying examination must not be less than 45 percent.
OBC category students must secure at least 42 percent marks, whereas SC?ST category candidates must secure a minimum 40 percent marks.
Age limit: The maximum age limit for admissions is 21 years. For candidates belonging to SC, ST or OBC class, the maximum age limit is 22 years.
Important documents to be submitted for KSLU admissions
Candidates who are applying for admissions must ensure that they submit all the prescribed information and documents at their college. Some of the important documents which the candidates are required to submit are given below.

Class 10th and 12th mark sheets

Transfer and migration certificate if applicable

Admission procedure
Admissions in the law programmes of the university and its affiliated colleges are given strictly on the basis of merit. Marks secured by the candidates in their qualifying examination are considered for preparing the merit list.
