KV admission list 2019 declared for Class 1; check 2nd provisional merit list here

NEW DELHI, APRIL 9: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has released the second merit list for admission to class 1 today i.e April 9, 2019. The list has been released on the official website of the Kendriya Vidyalayas with vacant seats left after the release of first merit list. The merit list is also on display on the notice board of the KVs. The first merit list for admissions to KV class 1 was out on March 26, 2019 along with the conduct of the region wise RTE and girl child lottery schedule.

Parents of selected students have to visit the school and fill the admission form, submit documents and pay the fees to reserve their ward’s seat. Parents must bring the printout of Registration Form filled online. They must bring their child along with them at the time of admission.

Here’s how you can download the KV second admission list-

  • Visit the official website of KV in which you applied.

  • Click on the KVS 2nd admission list CLASS 1.

  • The admission list will open in a pdf format.

  • Search for candidate’s name in the merit list.


Documents required at the time of admission (In original and photocopy) -

  • Original Date of Birth Certificate

  • One recent passport size photograph of the child

  • General Affidavit (as displayed) on a 10 rupees stamp paper.

  • In case of a Government employee, service certificate and transfer certificate (if applicable) on the letter head of the concerned department, in the prescribed format (as displayed) from the competent authority with signature of controlling officer, date and stamp, latest salary slip and Government ID Card.

  • In case of Defence Personnel and Personnel of Para Military Forces who are posted outside Delhi will produce Hard Area / Field Area / Non Family Accommodation Certificate for the place of posting.

  • Latest Original Certificate that the child belongs to SC / ST / EWS / BPL / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / PH / DA category wherever applicable, issued by the competent authority.

  • Proof of residence (Ration Card / Latest Electricity Bill / Rent Agreement with latest Electricity / Water Bill of the landlord /Aadhar Card / Voter ID card etc).

  • Aadhar Card of the Child, Father and Mother (if not available submit within three months from the date of admission) (Optional)

  • Photocopy of blood group report.

  • In the case of admission RTE, Self-declaration of distance Between School and Residence in prescribed format (as displayed).

  • Latest Single Girl Child Affidavit (if applicable) on a stamp paper of Rs 100 in prescribed format (as displayed) duly attested by Class I Magistrate.

This year, a total of 6,48,941 candidates applied for admission to KV class 1. After successfully filling the seats, KVs have released the second merit list for vacant seats(if any). Not all KVs have come out with the second list. In case any seat is still unoccupied, a third KV merit list will be released on April 23, 2019.
