New Delhi: The extended last date to register for the remotely-proctored online LSAT India 2020 entrance exam ends on July 5. The LSAT India 2020 registration process is open in online mode for eligible candidates seeking admission to law colleges and universities in India. The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) will administer LSAT India 2020 from July 19-22 on multiple slots.

The exam conducting authority will also make available an online mock test between July 4-5 to help candidates get acclimatized with the remote-proctored LSAT India 2020 entrance exam, and learn about things like navigation, how to answer a question, and to get an overall fee of the exam.

LSAT India 2020 to be conducted in online remote-proctored mode

Until last year the exam was conducted in pencil-and-paper mode, but for this session LSAT India has shifted to online remote proctored mode. This is done in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.

Apart from the change in exam mode, there are other changes to the LSAT India 2020 entrance exam, like the variable section has now been dropped and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours 20 minutes, instead of 2 hours 55 minutes.

So, the paper will now have four sections and around 92 questions.

There will be two Logical Reasoning sections.

Equipment needed to take the LSAT India 2020 remote-proctored exam

Since the exam will be conducted remotely, the candidate will be able to take from the safe confines of their homes or a place of their choice. Among basic equipment one will need to take the exam include a webcam-enabled computer system and internet connectivity. It may be noted that the LSAC has published a list of guidelines for the online examination that the candidate must follow.

Also, to get familiar with the exam, it is recommended that the candidate takes the mock test, as it will help to test the equipment and learn about other particulars necessary for taking the online exam.
