MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024 registration last date extended further till March 30

NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test cell has extended the last date to register for the MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024 till March 30. Candidates who are yet to apply can fill the application form by visiting the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. This is the second extension of the registration date. Earlier, the last date to apply for the exam was March 18.

“State CET Cell office received request from candidates and parents regarding extension for registration to MAH-LL.B 5 Yrs. CET 2024. Hence, considering the academic interest of the candidates CET CELL has decided to give Second Extension for online Registration and Application Form Filling for MAHLL.B - 5 Yrs. CET 2024 as per the schedule given below,” said CET cell.

MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024: Important dates

“No further extension will be given after 30/03/2024. Candidates should take a note of this,” the CET cell iterated.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with 45% aggregate marks for open, EWS, OMS candidates, 40% marks for SC, ST and 42% for VJNT, SBC, and OBC. Those who have passed a 3-years engineering diploma in any faculty will also be eligible.

The fee for open, EWS, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates, all India candidates belonging to all categories, and Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates is Rs 1,000. Candidates belonging to backward class categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT-1 (B), NT-2(C), NT-3(D), OBC and SBC] will have to pay Rs 800. Orphan and transgender candidates will have to make fee payment of Rs 800.

MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024: Instructions for candidates

Candidates will have to submit the following documents at the time of Common Admission Process (CAP) for admission to 5-year LLB programmes:

• Candidates will be required to submit the caste certificate, caste validity certificate and non-creamy layer certificate if applicable.
• Candidates having valid caste certificate and caste validity certificate from Maharashtra state and valid non-creamy layer certificate valid up to March 31, 2025 and belonging to Maharashtra state candidature should only apply under backward class category. The candidates will have to upload the caste validity certificate and the non-creamy layer certificate at the time of counselling.
• Candidate will be required to submit Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate if applicable.
• Candidate will be required to submit Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate if applicable.
