MAH CET 2019 Day 1 Exam Concludes

NEW DELHI, MARCH 9 - Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, successfully conducted the first and second session of MAH CET 2019 on March 9. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) is conducted annually that offer admission to students  to full-time post graduate degree courses in Management (MBA/MMS) in various participating institutes in Maharashtra. Around 40,000 seats are offered for admission in B-schools across Maharashtra state based on MAH CET scores. The exam was conducted in computer based mode.

  • Logical/Abstract Reasoning- The questions in these two sections were  based on tables, pie charts, visual reasoning, and verbal reasoning.

  • Quantitative Aptitude- In this section, students were asked questions based on arithmetic problems with respect to ratio and proportion, percentage, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to name a few.

  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension- This section included questions based on passages to test candidates’ comprehension skills. There were also questions from English language such as grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages to test candidate’s language ability.

What after MAH CET 2019?

The MAH CET 2019 result will be announced on March 31, 2019, which will include candidates' secured rank, score and percentile. After result of the MAH CET 2019, DTE  will conduct the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds in June 2019.
