NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 14: According to the latest media report, Maharashtra Board has made a revision in the Maharashtra Board 12th exam pattern for all the subjects. This revised exam pattern will be implemented from the year 2020. The Board has also made changes in the marking scheme and evaluation process. According to the revised Maharashtra Board 12th exam pattern 2020, the board has revised the evaluation scheme by adding 25% Objective type questions from the next session. These objective type questions will be in the form of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). Along with this, the answers will be provided and the students will have to tick any one option as the correct answer.
Additionally, the changes have also been made in the total marks of the 12th board exam. Now, the total marks of the Maharashtra 12th board exam have been increased to 650 from 600 priorly. Students can refer to the official website to know the complete information about the marking scheme.
The final change that has been made in the Maharashtra 12th Board Exam 2020 is the addition of 20 marks for the internal/practical exams. Therefore, now the theory papers in the Maharashtra 12th board exam will be of 80 marks while the rest 20 marks will be of internal/practical exams. Emphasizing on the break up of the 20 marks - 5 marks will be allotted for the listening skills. Oratory/speaking skills will be tested for the other 5 marks. The rest 10 marks will be dedicated to the subject-related activity.
Maharashtra Class 12th board exam is to be conducted in February-March 2020. Maharashtra 12th registration was started on October 3. Interested students can apply for the same until October 23, 2019. Around 14 lakh students are expected to be appearing for the Maharashtra 12th exam next year.
