Mahindra University Ecole Centrale School of Engineering launches Ph.D. program in Engg and Applied Sciences

NEW DELHI: Mahindra University Ecole Centrale School of Engineering (MEC), formerly Mahindra Ecole Centrale, Hyderabad, has announced the launch of Ph.D. Program in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences from the 2020 academic session.
Ph.D. programs will be offered in Computer Science, Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering disciplines and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Applied Sciences area. All the interested candidates can now apply for the program till June 27, 2020.
Candidates are required to have a Master's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Humanities/ Social Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 6.00 or 60% marks in aggregate to be eligible for the Ph.D. program. However, B.Tech degree holders with a CGPA of 7.00 or 70% aggregate marks and a valid GATE score will also be considered eligible for the program. All other details related to minimum qualifications, experience, etc can be obtained from the website: mahindraecolecentrale.edu.in.
Full time Ph.D. scholars will be provided an assistantship of Rs. 25,000 per month plus free boarding and lodging. Also, they will have to mandatorily provide Teaching Assistantship 8 hours a week.
For candidates willing to pursue liberal arts at Ph.D. level, MEC has a strong Humanities and Social Sciences program, which is backed by high-quality Media and Design Thinking laboratories.
