Manoj Arora roped in as BML Munjal University VC

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 21: BML Munjal University (BMU) has appointed the new Vice Chancellor Dr Manoj Kumar Arora on December 21, 2018. Professor Arora brings 30 years of experience as a teacher, researcher, administrator and a leader in academic institutions in India, UK and USA to the University.
Speaking on the development Sunil Kant Munjal, Chancellor, BML Munjal University said, “We are delighted to have Dr Manoj Kumar Arora as Vice Chancellor of BMU. He brings a wealth of interdisciplinary knowledge and global teaching and research experience. His work and presence will help the University with the continued focus on experience based learning.”
Prof. Arora- Over the years experience
Professor Arora holds a Ph.D in Remote Sensing from Swansea University, UK. Being a post-doctoral research fellow for about two years in a NASA sponsored project, Prof. Arora has earned Outstanding Teacher Award twice at IIT Roorkee. Not only this, prof has been awarded with the Commonwealth Scholarship Award, the DST Young Scientist Award, the AICTE Young Teacher Career Award to name few. Further, being a fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), Dr. Arora serves on a number of committees of IITs, DRDO, UPSC, CSIR, UGC, AICTE and other organizations of excellence.
