NEW DELHI DECEMBER 5: All India Management Association (AIMA) has extended the application deadline for MAT December 2018 computer-based test until December 10. Earlier, the last date of application for the online test was December 7, 2018. The admit card for the computer-based exam will be made available from December 11, 4 PM onwards on the official website. The MAT December CBT 2018 examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 15, 2018.

To register for MAT 2018 computer-based, candidates can visit the official website of AIMA (mat.aima.in). AIMA conducts the MAT exam in both online and offline mode. Interested applicants can apply for either one or both the modes of the exam. However, the application fees for MAT 2018 is Rs 1550 for any one mode, while candidates who apply for both online and offline tests need to pay Rs. 2650.

Aspirants who wish to appear for the paper-based (offline) MAT December 2018 exam could apply until December 4, 2018. The admit card for the offline test has been released on December 1. The paper-based test will be conducted on December 9 across various exam centres across the country.

Candidates who have applied for both the modes can download the admit card from December 3, 4 PM onwards. Also, candidates appearing for both PBT and CBT can use the best of two scores for the admission in the academic year 2019-21.

It is important for all the candidates to check the exam pattern of the test before appearing for it. The exam has five sections carrying a total of 200 questions. The table explains the complete pattern.

Marking Scheme: One mark for each correct answer deduction of 0.25 (1/4th) marks for every incorrect answer. The maximum marks, which a candidate can score is 200 and the scaled score is given out of 800.

MAT exam is a national-level management entrance exam conducted four times a year - February, May, September and December for MBA/PGDM admissions to more than 600 B-schools across the country. The MAT December 2018 exam will be conducted in around 50 cities of the country.
