NEW DELHI: The All India Management Association (AIMA) is going to conduct Management Aptitude Test (MAT) on March 06, 2022, as a paper-based test. In addition to it, AIMA is also conducting MAT 2022 as an internet-based test (IBT) and computer-based test (CBT). MAT 2022 registration for CBT will end on March 07 while for IBT, the registration for the last slot will close on March 19, 2022.

The MAT exam is conducted by AIMA four times a year- February, May, September, and December. MAT 2022 March session candidates are busy with last minute preparation as it is going to be conducted soon. In order to ace MAT 2022, candidates must go through the MAT exam pattern 2022, stick to a study plan and strengthen their sectional preparation to ace their exam.

MAT 2022: Last-minute preparation tips

  • To ace the MAT 2022 exam, make sure to complete the syllabus in time and avoid last minute cramming. Manage time to revise the important topics twice. Revising more than once is a guaranteed way to retain what you have studied.
  • Take a couple of last-minute MAT mock tests and analyze them well to identify your weak and strong areas. Also, it is important to solve MAT 2022 mock tests to get an idea about the exam pattern, type of questions, time taken to solve each question and the speed at which to solve the paper.
  • Make a last minute time-table for yourself. Self discipline is the key to cracking exams. Make sure to dedicate a large portion of your day to studying. At the end of the day, include some time in your time-table to revise what you have studied that day.
  • Study the basic concepts and important formulae. Brushing up the basics helps in solving the paper before time leaving ample time to revise .
  • Make sure to not start any new topic these last days. Your last minute study should strictly exclude starting new topics to avoid any confusion. Instead focus on strengthening what you have already studied.

MAT 2022: Section-wise preparation tips

  • Indian & Global Environment: This section is required to stay updated with the latest happening across the world. Candidates should study current affairs, business, politics and sports. Make sure to read newspapers on a daily basis.
  • Mathematical Skills: Study the important topics of math as this section is going to assess mathematical abilities. Be thorough with the concepts and practice new questions daily.
  • Intelligence & Critical Reasoning: Practice reasoning and deduction questions on a daily basis in order to perform well at this section.
  • Language Comprehension: The motive of this section is to assess candidates' vocabulary and verbal abilities. Apart from studying, in order to prepare well, candidates should read books, novels and newspapers daily to get a command over English and perform well at this section.
  • Data Analysis & Sufficiency: Since questions are accompanied by some data represented in the form of graphs, candidates should thoroughly practice reading and understanding graphical data.
