Top 5 Easy MBA Entrance Exams Every MBA Aspirant Should Consider
When candidates choose the MBA entrance exams they want to appear for, it is essential to identify the B-schools they prefer. Candidates should finalize their decision for MBA entrance exams based on the institutes and their accepted entrance exams. Here is a list of easy MBA entrance exams that you can consider.
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade offers three campuses across India - Kolkata, Delhi, and Kakinada. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the IIFT entrance exam for admission to the above colleges based on the candidate's performance. The IIFT question paper consists of 110 MCQs in four sections. There is no section timing like XAT. The IIFT 2023 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2022.
For the first three sections - VARC, DILR, QA - three marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark deducted for every incorrect answer. In the GK section, 1.5 marks will be awarded for correct answers and 0.5 marks for incorrect answers.
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)
Symbiosis International University (SIU) conducts SNAP, a one-hour aptitude exam with sixty questions. As the exam is held thrice from November to January. Candidates can appear twice in a particular year. The SNAP exam has three sections (Analytical & Logical Reasoning and Quantitative, General English, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency) and a time limit for each section. As the exam has the same syllabus as CAT, no special preparation is required.
Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
Management Aptitude Test is another popular MBA entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT offers both computer-based and offline mode exams which candidates can choose according to their preferences.
MAT has 200 questions tested from different areas of Language Comprehension, Indian and Global Environment, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Critical Reasoning, and Mathematical Skills and Intelligence.
Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT)
The Common Management Aptitude Test is the annual management entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). CMAT is a multiple choice objective type test that consists of a total of four sections - Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, and General Awareness. The duration of the CMAT exam will be 3 hours.
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)
Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is another important entrance test like CAT. XAT is a 3-hour computer-based test with four sections. XAT 2023 will be conducted on January 8, 2023. The XAT exam has two parts; The first part contains Decision making, VARC, and Quant. The second part has 25 MCQs on GK and an essay question. There is no sectional cutoff for the XAT exam second part.
