MH CET 5-year LLB Counselling 2026: College choice filling begins at cetcell.mahacet.org; register by August 7

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Examination Cell (CET) has started the centralised admissions process (CAP) for admission to the 5-year law (LLB 5 years) programme for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates can register their choice for college preference through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

The college preference choice filling for the 5-year LLB programme will be open until August 7 and the first round of seat allotment result will be declared on August 12.

Candidates allotted seats in the first round will have to report to their allotted colleges between August 13 and August 18, excluding August 15, for document verification and confirmation of admission. “The information of students admitted to the colleges will be uploaded on the portal on 19th August 2026,” according to an official notice.

The registration for the 5-year LLB programme was held between June 19 and 17, 2026. The final merit list of this course was declared on July 29. A total of 18,305 students have registered for this course, the notice read.

In addition, the CET cell has given an opportunity for candidates who have given the CET exam but could not register for it. Those candidates can register for the third round of admission (round 3) and the institutional round from August 5 to 31.
