MHT CET 2020 to be conducted for rain affected students: Uday Samant

NEW DELHI: Minister of Higher Education and Technical Education, Uday Samant has announced that the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell will re-conduct the MHT CET 2020 exam for all the candidates who could not attempt the entrance test due to heavy rains. The official announcement has been made through Twitter on October 16.

As per the tweet, PCB and PCM students who downloaded the MHT CET 2020 admit card but could not appear in the exam due to heavy rain in the state will be given another chance to appear in the exam.

Earlier, the State CET Cell, Maharashtra released a notification stating that the MHT CET 2020 PCM exam of October 12 will be conducted again for the candidates who faced disruptions in their first session exam due to power outage in Mumbai Region. Candidates at five test centres faced disruption and will be given another opportunity.

MHT CET 2020 PCM examination is being conducted on October 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20 at 175 test centers in Maharashtra. MHT CET exam for PCB was held on October 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
